Berberis  Emerald Carousel Barberry  (Jap Green x Korean) Combines the hardiness better flowering and fruiting characteristics of Korean with the plant habit of Japanese.  Red to reddish-purple fall foliage.             Ht: 4 - 5'  W: 4 - 5' Berberis  Golden Carousel Barberry The outstanding bright yellow spring foliage. It gradually turns more green throughout the summer months and then turns a bright red fall color. Grow in light shade for best foliage color results. Berberis  Rosy Glow Barberry New foliage is rose pink, mottled with deeper red-purple splotches, maturing into a deep reddish-purple. Small yellow flowers in spring produce red fruit in summer. Caragana  Russian Peashrub Similar to Siberian except that it is more bushy, not as tall, and foliage is darker green.  Large deep yellow flower are showy, appearing in May and June.  Hardy and drought resistant.                   Ht: 8'  W: 6 - 8' Clethra alnifolia 'Hummingbird' Summersweet    A compact form of clethra. Daphne x burkwoodii 'Carol Mackie'  Fragrant pink flowers in May.  Variegated foliage forms a dense mounded shape. Requires a cool, dry or well-drained site and alkaline soil. Excessive moisture must be avoided. Sun or partial shade. Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' Large, solid globular blooms flower freely from mid-summer till frost. Matures at 4-5'. Thrives in the shade. One of the best hydrangeas. Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmer'  Endless Summer  Mop-head type hydrangea bloom consistently on both old and new wood, resulting in beautiful flowers all summer long.  Unusually hardy.  Blooms blue in acidic soils, pink in alkaline.  Ht: 3 - 5' W: 3 - 5' Hydrangea paniculata 'Compact'  PeeGee  A compact form of PeeGee.  Because of it's smaller size it is a great choice for foundation plantings.  Ht:  6'.  W: 6 - 7'. 
Hydrangea paniculata 'PeeGee'  Blooms in  July and August.  Very showy, large, conical white flowers change to pinkish-bronze in late summer.  Rarely or never fed on by Japanese beetles.  Flowers are useful for dried arrangements.  Ht: 8'  W: 10 - 15' Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky  Resembles it parent 'Pink diamond' in size and hardiness. Difference is in the size of foliage and flowers.  14" blooms give a much fuller look.  Stems are also stronger and support the large blooms. Ht& W: 6 - 8' Hydrangea paniculata 'Tardiva'  This hydrangea adds so much fall interest with its beautiful white blooms, flowering August through September.  The flowers fade to mauve as the plant takes on a bronze fall color. Physocarpus opulifolius 'Center Glow' Much like 'Diabolo' except the red color is far brighter and new foliage emerges a glowing yellow-green. Stephanandra incisa 'Crispa'  Small yellow-white flowers in June. Branches are slender and grow in a zig-zag pattern. Use for dense compact groundcover, effective for erosion control.
